Which type of massage is best for me?

What is the difference between Thai, Swedish and deep tissue massage?
Thai massage is oil-free with assisted stretches, done in loose clothing. Swedish uses oil and long, gliding strokes for relaxation. Deep tissue uses slow, firm pressure on specific tight areas. Read our comparison guide.
What is a Moroccan bath?

What is the difference between couples and four hands massage?
A couples massage is two people each having a massage side by side. A four hands massage is two therapists working on one person at the same time.
What does a full body massage include?
Usually the back, shoulders, neck, arms, hands, legs and feet, often finishing with the scalp. Tell your therapist about any area you would like to skip or focus on.

What should I wear to a massage?
For oil massages you undress to your comfort level and stay covered with towels; for Thai massage you wear loose, comfortable clothing. Your privacy is respected throughout.
Is massage legal in Dubai?
Yes. Professional wellness massage is legal in Dubai. Starlight Spa offers professional, non-medical relaxation and wellness massage in private rooms only.
Can I get a massage while pregnant?
Please tell us before booking and check with your doctor. Some treatments, such as hot stone massage and certain essential oils, are not recommended during pregnancy.
Can I get a massage on my period?
Generally yes. Many people find massage soothing at that time. Let your therapist know so they can use lighter pressure on the lower back and abdomen, or skip areas you prefer.
Can I get a massage after eating?
It is more comfortable to avoid a heavy meal right before your massage, since you will be lying face down. A light snack is fine.
What should you not do after a massage?
Avoid heavy meals, alcohol and intense exercise straight away. Drink water and take it easy for the rest of the day if you can.
How often should you get a massage?
